The Pfaffenbichler/Felberbauer farm in Lower Austria is a family-run dairy farm with around 40 dairy cows and young female stock. Nestled in the gentle hilly landscape of the region, the farm combines traditional agriculture with modern management methods.

Especially with our Simmental cows, excessively long lactation periods combined with declining milk yield can quickly lead to overconditioning — and that practically guarantees problems in the following lactation.
Thanks to precise heat monitoring and perfectly timed insemination, I am able to get the cows pregnant faster and significantly reduce these follow-up risks.
Improving Profitability and Work Organization
Another advantage: the profitability of my farm has improved noticeably. Health problems detected early, better fertility, and fewer inseminations all have a direct positive impact on herd performance and the farm’s cost structure.
